Helping people get better at golf is what motivates me every day.  In my career I have had over 700 referrals; where my students have entrusted their friends and family to me knowing I will help them play better golf and have  more fun on the course.

Below is a chance to read through more in-depth feedback from students who have already gone through the journey of improving their game with me.

I would be glad to tell you my experience. I started out as a 15 handicap and was tired of hacking it around the course. The first day I met Mickey changed my golf game forever. I am now a 5 handicap and I owe it all to Mickey. I enjoy golf so much more and I look forward to improving my game. Last week I shot a 71, this summer's best!

My advice to you is to step back and really understand what you want out of golf and what you want out of these lessons. Good golf start with a good attitude, When you go in for your next lesson work on the shot that's causing you the most trouble. Make golf fun again and your game will improve.

FYI, we can use our score from this Tuesday for the 9 hole championship at North Oaks. I shot a 44 on the front 9 which is my personal best and makes me the current leader. Very exciting, I guess I needed that refresher lesson! I also noticed my handicap has
dropped once again. It is fun to have some success. I owe it to you....

I just want you to know that I'm delighted with the results of your help earlier this year, Mickey. I haven't yet broken 80, but during the summer and especially into this Fall, I've finally had it sink in what simply turning back means. My swing thoughts have simplified and my results have been a 4-5 point drop in my handicap and much greater enjoyment playing the game. No more big hooks or chunks. Thank you! Hope to see more of you this winter.

Thought I would let you know that I had a chance to play yesterday and shot an 87 (full disclosure par 71). 40 on the front (lowest 9 ever for sure) and 47 on the back (mostly due to taking a disastrous 9 on a par 5). Probably my lowest score ever, but for sure lowest in more than 10 years. Anyway, thanks for hanging with me. See you soon.

I went to the driving range yesterday so I could see the ball flight. It was quite remarkable. The ball was going straight and far. Connection was solid, and even the 3 wood had a slight draw.  Short irons need a little work, but the long irons were a thing of beauty.

Guess those lessons pay off!

Of course, I now have no idea how far the ball will go, but it will still
be a lot more fun even if the score isn't so great.

I finally got out for my first round of the year in Minnesota today. It was perfect weather and fun to play again! I played well for my first round, in fact, I beat all of my buddies straight up and they are all carry lower indexes than I do! My driver was probably the most improved club, I got a lot of complements on my tee balls…increased club head speed, you’re making a much better move on the ball, etc. My partner said he was going to get a shirt with a patch that says “Nice ball Paul” so he doesn’t have to keep repeating it! I ended up shooting an 84 and that included a quad bogey and a double! As always, there’s always room for improvement but it sure was a great start. The short game is probably the biggest area to work on but I think that’s understandable given it was the first round.

I’m sorry for the long email but I wanted to let you know how much your instruction has helped improve my game. I am really excited about this season.

Thanks for all that you have done for me, your instruction has taken me to another level and really improved my game.

I finally got out yesterday and got to put my new swing to the test.   That you were able to get me to hit the ball the way I did yesterday is nothing short of a miracle! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the patience.

I really only had one bad iron shot – jerked it to the left on a par three, like the old days. But then I chipped it in from 25/30 yards. And this was only my first time out this year.  Last year I don’t believe I chipped one in once.

It’s going to be a good year.   Look forward to seeing you next week.
