Finding someone to help you with your golf game is an important decision! If you are putting in time to find a coach who is a good fit, you are already well on the road to improvement. The problem is, some instructors just teach what works for them, only rely on technology, teach a "system", or plainly, don't have experience giving golf lessons. Hopefully this section helps you decide if Mickey Soderberg Golf Instruction is right for you.
I took it upon myself at age 13 to start researching and learning about how the best golfers become successful. By age 15 I was already teaching the game giving golf lessons to others. I then went to Mississippi State to further my teaching ability and become a Class A PGA Professional by age 23. The past 20 years I have not just made a career of helping others play better golf, but have been constantly learning and researching ways to improve my teaching abilities.
My expertise is based in understanding the physics of what is truly happening when you hit a bad shot and reverse engineering it. You might believe you are radically inconsistent, but to me, there is a pattern. My experience of teaching over 30,000 golf lessons has helped me find what the root issues of golfers problems are to make sure we are working on the right thing and getting better faster. By having the privilege of working with thousands of golfers, I can tap into your learning style so you don't feel overwhelmed and the instruction can be presented in a manageable way.
Proven Ability:
I continue to be passionate about teaching golf because my students improve! A great way to objectively measure improvement is knowing that I have coached students to over 1000 career best rounds. Another way to judge improvement is by the smiles on my students faces by improving their ball flight every time we meet. Even if you don't shoot your career round, being able to know WHY you make a mistake on the course and HOW to fix it can be just as rewarding. Knowing that I consistently help my students succeed is why my clients have referred over 700 of their friends and family to me.
Any Skill Level:
What makes me unique is that I truly love helping all skill levels. I enjoy the differences in the processes of helping a beginner get on the course to have fun or working with an elite player to find the missing piece to get them to the next level. But most of my students fall between. Most golfers have plateaued at a certain level or have a frustration with their game that they can't overcome. Whatever your skill level or whatever problem you need help solving, we will set up a unique improvement plan for YOU that takes into account your skill level, how much time you can put into improving and what a success end result looks like to you.
Flexible Programs:
After our first meeting we will be able to decide what course of action we want to take to help you reach your goals. This discussion will help us decide on the correct lesson program for you. We will take into account:
Once we agree on a plan of action you can set up lessons weekly, bi-weekly or monthly...or book as you go.
